Budget online glasses - thanks to a listener for this tip about Warby Parker, an independent eyeglass retailer who design and make their own frames and sell them online. Most pairs, including lenses, retail for about $100 after tax.

I already have people touching my hair, but are these curly tips beneficial for normal hair? - I can't make the mane look 'too' awesome, can I..?

I used to wonder why I got mixes of frowns/scowls or compliments from women regarding my hair, (which is almost waist length) until I finally clicked that I'm one of the lucky ones with really straight hair besides a slight 'flick' at the ends for some reason, that also takes a while to get greasy. "It's so healthy for being so long, how do you take care of it?" with a look of genuine curiosity that instantly becomes a frown as I say I just shampoo once a week and brush it a lot...

I genuinely look forward to going grey; silver horse maybe? rather than silver fox.. lol

I also have an oval face, so, any facial hair goes; although I can only grow a goatee... In regards to the scratchiness of it; beard oil, AFTER a shower while warm and still slightly damp, absorbs in and leaves the hair nice and soft.

haha no, it's not possible to be too awesome :P

Eve I have no bodily hair what so ever because of my alopecia so i seriously thinking about having tattooed eye brows, cause when i'm brush my false hair or wig looking in the mirror my face looks or feels a bit odd as if somethings missing , and on the topic glasses i do agree it does make people feel a bit more confident image wise, luckily now i now need glasses anyway, With spring and summer on the horizon i think i should get some new sunglasses as well, cause all i have is those wrap-round " Matrix" type ones. thank again for the hints i 'm gonna try wrapping my hair peaces in T-shirt instead of towel (i call it hair peaces because i feel a bit embarrassed or ashamed of it ) I have had the same problem with my nails as well especially when im get nervous or on edge

If you do go for tattooed eyebrows, make sure you find a really reputable place. If you can, get a referral from you dermatologist, you want someone who really knows what they're doing.

Eve let me say first that I've been listening to and loving your work for quite a while now. I finaly made an account so I could comment on this. I've always had a major problem with chewing my finger nails. Like bad... It's gross, my fingers are always jagged and bloody. But I can't stop. I've tried again and again but I do it without noticing untill suddenly I realize im bleeding. So I guess I was wondering if any of your listeners have had this problem too? How did they get past it? I didn't see any comments about it but i think it's somthing a lot of people struggle with. Also I've always kind of struggled with my appearance, I have a broken front tooth from a child hood accident. But I can't afford to have it fixed right now.. I don't think I'm ugly but there's just things I feel like i can't change. I will try your tips with the hair though. I have very curly long hair that always looks fried and dead. Sorry for the long post but seriously any info on nail biting?? Help??

    • A Eve on 2017-11-16 19:52:47 (UTC)

One of the best things for nail biting is something like this - it's completely clear so no one will see it on, but it tastes awful. You will break your habit in no time if you use this regularly.

      Thanks for commenting!

It's always great to hear your thoughts on this stuff! Very thorough and plenty of great details! (like fingers and lady bits :P)

There is no such thing as 2 in one shampoo?
I have been lied to! :(
To be honest, I'm really proud of my hair. For a long time I just had a very short cut, but for a while now I have it around shoulder length - seems like I have to justify having "too much" hair all the time. I guess you can't win at this as a guy. Too much hair! But nooo, not balding. Meh ^^

Every kind of hair on guys is awesome, I love them all. I love shoulder length hair on guys, it's very sexy, so don't worry about that 💋

Eve you really know your stuff lol. We even got the same hair! 😊. Mine is straight & curly & i had it for years. It has went through changes due to weather. I don't like that it curls up a lot & the frizz sometimes. I'll definitely try your tips to fix that. I'll be honest when you started to talk about teeth; i got a bit nervous because i don't have the most perfect teeth. I do my best to take care of them tho. I was never a fan of full beards because it always itches my face as i have sensitive skin. I appreciate you making feel better about everything. I didn't know women paid attention to eyebrows & eyelashes either lol 😄. Thanks for teaching me new things. Have a great day Beautiful 🌷

    • A Eve on 2017-03-06 21:57:21 (UTC)

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Never worry about your teeth, it doesn't matter. No one has perfect teeth, I don't like my teeth either :P

  • billymacorbuddy on 2017-03-05 18:45:35 (UTC)

I think balding men should embrace their baldness. It's great! Every couple of weeks I buzz down what hair I have left. After I'm done, I look and feel fresh and clean. No need to worry about a trip to the barber. The only thing is, it MUST be done regularly, otherwise I look like a sprouting chia pet. :)

And thank you for the links about the glasses. Although I wear contacts, I'm in the sun all day in the summer and am constantly struggling to find just the right pair of sunglasses.

    • A Eve on 2017-03-05 21:35:55 (UTC)

Absolutely, and wow that image of the chia pet...I'm not laughing at you, I'm laughing with you. Honestly :P

      • billymacorbuddy on 2017-03-06 14:52:36 (UTC)

Yes, Chia Billy is a silly sight indeed. :)

        • A Eve on 2017-03-06 21:57:56 (UTC)

ch-ch-ch-chia....thanks, now that commercial is in my head. The one that was actually a guy's head :P

          • billymacorbuddy on 2017-03-07 05:01:28 (UTC)

With the time lapse photography of it sprouting? I know it well.

            • A Eve on 2017-03-07 15:00:42 (UTC)

I think this was the original :P

That's the one! Chia Guy. Says full growth in 1 to 2 weeks, sounds about right. ;)

Another great episode Eve. I recently decided to go with a goatee on my face and people have commented about how good it really looks on me. Hell, it even got people paying attention to me that never really gave me the time of day otherwise.

    • A Eve on 2017-03-05 21:36:22 (UTC)

Yes, it can really make a difference, in ways I bet you never thought of. Good for you 😘
