You should also check out the art work of Georgia O'Keeffe - her flower paintings are decidedly vulva-like, intentionally, and they're beautiful!

I have heard of Georgia O'Keeffe but I don't think I've ever seen any of her works. Beautiful and vulva-like seems like something I would remember!!!

I remember watching a short documentary of women getting extreme closeup art photos of their vaginas but I can't remember the name to find it. It had something to do with flowers but since then, I can't unsee the metaphor of a pussy as a flower...the petals, the "bud", glistening with dew...
