I am very sorry to learn that cancer is trying to rob your family - I always fail to find the words to convey the full measure of my dismay whenever someone in my social orbit is so afflicted. But I can say that your loved one is truly fortunate to have such a supportive ally as yourself standing with them.

Your reading of this short story was highly entertaining; how could it not with the variety of accents and cadences you used to colourfully imbue the characters with life & their own distinct characters. Loved your brave attempt of an Arabic accent in Hassan! Poirot operating all along on the notion that a plotter was wielding superstition to mask nefarious goings-on of a more mundane nature was a masterful twist.

Finally, it was great to see an example of how RL archaeologist Howard Carter's contemporary discovery of King Tut's tomb (& the rumours of his curse) affected the pop culture of the day.

Thank you so much, C. I'm hanging in there. I'm glad you enjoyed the accents, it's not easy to do so many different voices in one story.
