Eve, this little ramble was great for a slow fade to black, not withstanding the timely monologue on the goals (wants?) we have that can lead to obsessive thinking...an energy wasting and frustrating cycle that most of us are prone to experience, yours truly included! Meditation, distractions, redirection... everyone has to find their own way if they can, I think!

Aw, you're the great snuggler! What a great idea to ride out a stormy night with some snuggles!
And you're a great rambler, what an interesting idea to ponder in a warm, cozy cuddle! It reminds me of some wise words from a sweetie about "Going Fallow" :P
But I really feel for you and it sucks that things haven't been working out very well lately. I hope the storm is passing through and things will be looking up soon! Maybe after you've received some warmth to recharge your superpowers? Kind of like how Superman gets his power from sunshine...
And I need to ask...are those "business socks"? Because that would mean its "business time"! :P
