As many of you know, we’re nearing the end of NNN - No Nut November, aka No Fap November, that accursed month in which people challenge themselves not to masturbate/orgasm for these 30 days.

As you can imagine, I am not a fan of this strange new tradition.

However, I respect my listeners. I respect your self-discipline, your self-control, your dedication to your self-inflicted sexual exile. Even if I think you’re crazy. Even if your not coming is pretty much my worst nightmare. Which is why I decided to help you during this trying time. Sort of.

        (No fair!) I say this jokingly, but it's something you'll hear if you play online games against people. Instead of "wow they outplayed me" the person usually blames a certain tactic or an item that gave their opponent an advantage. A "nerf" would be the developers changing that thing to not be so powerful.

    According to Urban Dictionary, NNN is superceded in the next month by Destroy Dick December. So a successfully participant who held out for 30 days would 'bust a nut' once on December 1st, twice on the 2nd, thrice on the third - you see where I'm going. December 31 😱 Sounds more like a meme and I think nobody takes this part seriously.

    Supposedly NNN started only just last November, and I suspect some Redditor on NoFap as a possible originator.

      I've been doing nofap november for 15 years. Though for most of that time it was an actual discipline practice and not a game/bet system like NNN is.

      ME TOO! And I know some people take it really seriously, too. Maybe some guys think that when they do indulge it will be spectacular - but somehow I don't think so. I don't think one (even spectacular) orgasm can make up for a month of abstinence. That's like saying you won't eat for a month and you'll enjoy that pizza so much more when you do eat. 🤔

        The college I went to has been running it long before the internet came about. I don't claim at all that they are the originators, but the concept of taking November off nutting predates reddit and 4chan. They just give ideas like this life.

        We did it as a discipline. Replace all your porn time with something else and see what happens.

        "No Nut" is a new name by me. This is the first year I've heard it. For years it was "No Fap Nov". The concept originates where most memes do. 4chan. It was surrounded by mountains of sexual misinformation and myth. Things 4chan is good for. It picked up steam from the most toxic members of the community that today are known as "incels" and if you know anything about those who self-identify as incels then you know just how toxic. That's the Cliff Notes version of the history of No Fap/Nut Nov. How it evolved between then and now isn't really important. It's all still based on myth and misinformation.

          Truth be told, I used to be quite vocal with hatred of those now known as incels. But now, I only feel sorry for them. I genuinely hope they can turn their perspectives around and find their true happiness in a positive, healthy way.

          If I can change, so can they. And I sincerely hope they will.

            I feel sorry for all the men who get caught up in the incel thing, men who really aren't like that but end up getting swept up into this ideology based on belonging, a place to vent, etc. So many people are just extremely lonely, but they aren't truly hateful or sexist, etc. I hope they find happiness too
