I’ve discovered a new option that may solve a couple of problems my non-erotic audio fans and potential members face, and I need your help in making it work.
I realize - from noticing this myself when trying to visit my own site - that in many places, websites with ’adult’ content are completely blocked. Many universities and public wi-fi hotspots just ban this kind of thing outright, and in the UK, ISPs are increasingly requiring opt-ins for any adult site, even in your own home. So if you’re trying to listen to my Sweet Nothings, or my Let’s Go For a Walk series - in other words, nothing sexual - you may still be prevented from doing so because my site is considered ’adult’.
And then there’s the issue of trying to join an adult site - a lot of banks and credit card companies are constantly defrauded by people using stolen credit cards to try to access adult sites. So they are, understandably, a little trigger-happy when it comes to denying to process the charges. And in some cases, people are hesitant to have evidence of their having joined an adult site show up on their credit card bill, for various reasons.
I understand all this, and sympathize. So I’m always looking for ways to make this process ”cleaner”, if you will. (You know I hate being called ”dirty” :P )
I think I’ve hit upon a way to solve both of these problems. I’ve launched a Patreon page that will accomplish two things:
It will feature all my non-erotic audios - Sweet Nothings, Let’s Go For a Walk, Eve’s Guide, Under the Covers with Eve, poems, short stories, cuddly audios, etc. I will still post of all them on Eraudica as well - but this way, these non-erotic, SFW audios will be hosted on a site that won’t get banned. So if you have any issue accessing my non-erotic content on Eraudica, you will now be able to find them on my Patreon page. They will all be free, as they are now, however:
I have included an option to pay $1 for basic support with no extra rewards, or $2 a month for all the free content plus two extra Sweet Nothings audios a month, and here’s why: if I get enough ’patrons’ and update regularly, Patreon will give me the option of integrating their platform with Eraudica as a way of paying for a membership to the site.
In other words, I will be able to offer a membership tier of $7 a month on Patreon, and it will automatically give you access to my Eraudica Exclusives. You will be able to sign in with your Patreon credentials without having to use a separate password. Patreon will bill you, (and that will be what shows up on your credit card statement). This is a is a 'pay up front' option that Patreon offers to certain creators, so you won't get access until your card/Paypal etc is charged, but in that sense it works exactly like most online checkout services do.
So If you have any hesitation about working with an adult site payment processor, this may put your mind at ease. This will also be a good option for people who don't have a credit card, since you can pay by Paypal or Stripe using your bank account.
I’m excited about this development because I welcome anything that removes the typical stigma of ’porn’ or ’adult’ from the business end of what I do. I want to be able to offer my members clear cut, straightforward and transparent choices that they never have to worry about. And I don’t want potential members to face the discomfort of being turned down by their own bank if they choose to join my site. So for both types of listeners - those who enjoy the non-erotic content, and those who want to join Eraudica, I think this could be a great solution.
If you’d like to support me in this, and help me reach the goal of being able to offer Patreon as a payment option, please visit my Patreon page and become a patron.
You can find a FAQ about payments via Patreon here, or feel free to ask me any questions.
Thank you guys - I love you all! 💋
P.S. I've also discovered that Patreon will allow me to post photos with nudity, so if I can get this going I will include a membership tier for that as well. It will be like my Onlyfans.com page, only you'll see the content (photos and videos) directly on Patreon.
